“To live a life of a designer, one must lose hope of being wrong”

To start with, the basic element required for a designer is to be creative. And produce our output in the most original and eye catchy way. The dream of a designer is to create meaningful designs that communicate on a visual, intellectual and emotional level.

A life of a designer would definitely be taken as one of the most interesting jobs, compared to the other forms of the work.
The more one is trend savvy, the easier it gets to create something completely new.. and easier to catch the attention of new audience.

If we take, Sir Walt Disney for example, he could have had his fears and flaws too. But it did not stop him from creating the first ever cartoon to be made “Mickey Mouse and the Steam Boat”. Because of which, the character Mickey Mouse is still the heartthrob of every child and even adults.

Sir Walt Disney too had his doubts where it might not be up to the mark, but it did not stop him, in fact his fear of being wrong was what boosted his confidence even more by thinking that taking a risk as a designer and an animator brought him to such a level where today he is considered as the ‘Father of Animation’.

I personally wouldn’t agree to the statement that ‘one must lose hope of being wrong’ as I believe in the more mistakes we make the more we learn and get more perfection in our work of art. Designing and Animation is such a field where in any project we take up there will be errors and we evolve to perfect ourselves by seeing through our mistakes.

If we would just keep trying and hopefully change the "being wrong" in a positive way, it will only give us more opportunities to try something new. Something which has not been done. As it is also quoted that, “If you are afraid of failure, it shows that you are one step closer to success.

And my final conclusion would be, the hope of being wrong is not a negative mark to ourselves, but it is what which gives us more experience by re-doing our work and give in our perfection.
