Outside those pink walls..

How often do you think out of the box? Finding a guy tying the knot and getting married is that all a woman wants? Its the 21st century and times change. Women have equal rights as men do. They work as equals but why is that they are treated like a grocery, picking the one they like? Shouldn’t women select the man they like? Why is that in this sexist world that though women are more powerful than men in certain field all a woman dreams of is marriage?

Is marriage everything? Can’t a woman lead a single and happy life?

Without the family fuss and husband’s rules and regulations and family drama. A woman has the power to reach another planet and come back but why not have the will power to live without a husband the "backbone". To be honest it seems silly how all Indian women want in life is wedding, a husband and bunch of kids.

What is marriage? It is a bond between a man and a woman taking a vow to live together for the rest of their lives for better or for worse. So is a wedding really required to love someone and live with them? The illusion of a perfect wedding seems to be in every girl’s mind. They are underestimating themselves by thinking they need a man to support themselves.

No women have been independent, and they still need to learn that a marriage is just a phase of life not their entire life, where they spend years together planning on what to wear and how to present themselves.

Well according to me a marriage is not necessary, if you love someone be with them there is no guarantee that just by tying a knot they’ll be together forever. A single piece of paper can break their marriage. So why go down that lane? If two people love and trust each other they are free to be with each other it’s the weak mind which makes them sink into a marriage.

Women have the freedom to choose whether they want to be in a relationship or not, families forcing them to get married just because they are growing old is never an option. You were born alone and certainly will die alone so why bring up a man in the process? Live your life the way you want to. And stay happy with what the lord has given you.

We were much younger than 13 when we first hit the Yes! I am of 13 years or elder while signing up for our first profile. Orkut was the first major happening social media site. But in a leap Facebook took over. In a blink of an eye.. How did it all start? Orkut died. Out of nowhere we got so busy with our lives at that point using Facebook was pinned in our minds.  After a few years it started to feel like it was the end of an era. We stopped looking at scrapbooks and started to give thumbs up to peoples posts. Not to forget a double tap to like on Instagram has still been in trend. People are sick of social media. But its a gateway again. I guess in the starting days we missed finding out who has checked our profile recently like we did on Orkut. It's amazing yet strange of how we eventually do move on from one phase to another. For girls like me, it did seem like a good hope tho..
